Coffee is a part of our everyday life.
It energizes us when we’re tired, and makes us feel more productive and relaxed. Unlike the standard long-brewing pot of drip coffee, a Vietnamese coffee filter is a one-and-done, quick-brewing method that can produce coffee with a richer flavor and a darker color.
The Vietnamese are very invested in their coffee and they take their time to enjoy it. Apart from the act of drinking coffee, the Vietnamese also take the time to let the coffee brew while they have a meal or chat with friends, and this is a great way to enjoy it. One of my favourite things about Vietnamese coffee is that it’s served in tiny cups.
Vietnam has a rich history of coffee, dating back to the French colonial period. The French brought coffee beans from French Indochina to Europe, North America, and other parts of the world. In Vietnam, coffee grows across the Central Highlands, in provinces such as Lam Dong, Gia Lai, and Kon Tum. Vietnamese coffee is typically rich and strong. Drinking it is about enjoying the scenery, taking your time, and taking in the atmosphere.
When making coffee with a Vietnamese coffee filter, the coffee grounds are added to the bottom, a plunger is put on top, filters then placed over a cup and then the hot water is added then the magic begins.
To use the Vietnamese coffee filter
The stainless steel Vietnamese filter is ideal for morning breakfasts and more. It is easy to put a couple of scoops of coffee in, put on your cup let it drip. Cleanup is also a breeze as you can just take the drop top off put in the sink to wash out later on. With many different sizes of filters you can accommodate many different types of coffee drinking needs.
